Elections Commission has announced tough and stringent covid rules for elections campaigns. Though it has banned all types of political rallies, padayatra, roadshow, meetings, till January 15, restrictions are likely to be continued till the completion of elections process.
Uttar Pradesh poll schedule: First phase – February 10, Second phase- February 14, third phase- February 20, Fourth phase- February 23, fifth phase- February 27, Sixth phase- March 3rd and Seven phase-March 7. Single-phase elections will be held in Punjab, Goa and Uttarakhand on February 14. Two-phase elections will be held in Manipur on February 27 and March 3. Counting will be held on March 10.
