Police arrests woman for secretly mixing drugs to kill her husband
Police have arrested a woman for allegedly mixing drugs with food to kill her husband since six years. It was stated that she has a rivalry with her husband for he not registering any property in her name
Kottayam: A woman was arrested by the police for allegedly mixing drugs in food to kill her husband.
Asha Suresh, a native of Murukkapuzha in Thiruvanthapuram,, residing at Sathimandiram in Meenachil in Pala was arrested by the police.
The woman was arrested for allegedly kill her husband, Suresh, by mixing a drug in the food. Suresh, running an ice cream company, bought a house in Pala and residing there.
His wife Asha began to quarrel over petty issues. Recently Suresh has developed tiredness and headache. He consulted a doctor and took medicine, but his sugar level was dipped.
Later, he stayed away from home for 20 days and ate outside, his health problem was stopped. He became suspicious of his wife’s behavior.
With help of Asha’s friend, Suresh came to know that he is consuming drugs in food. Asha told her friend that she used to mix drugs in food and gave it to her husband since 2015. Police have raided the house following a complaint of Suresh and seized drugs from Asha.
Both were married in 2006, after he starts the ice cream business, his financial condition was improved. With help of CCTV footage, Suresh has red-handedly caught his wife. She has confessed before the police that, her husband has not registered his assets in her name, thus she has decided to kill him.
