Ashwathnarayan told VC’s to ensure vaccination of students by July 7

Bengaluru: Deputy Chief Minister C.N.Ashwathnarayana, who also holds the higher education portfolio, advised the Vice-Chancellors of the universities to ensure vaccination of all students above 18 years, expeditiously.

After a virtual meeting with Vice-Chancellors, Mr. Ashwathnarayana told, as per the schedule of the vaccine drive, all students are to be vaccinated by July 7, he said and added that VCs should ensure vaccination of all students by July 7. 

After vaccination drive completed government will take a decision to start offline classes for degree, pu colleges in the state, Mr. Ashwathnarayana said

Students are being vaccinated as a priority group to facilitate the opening of physical classes of higher education classes. 

The date of opening of offline classes depends on the success of this vaccination drive, and the government is ready to extend all cooperation in this regard, he opinioned. Mr. Ashwath Narayana also instructed the VCs to work towards the implementation of national educational policy.
