BENGALURU, July 31, 2025 – Marking a historic milestone in India’s technological journey, the first-ever Quantum India Bengaluru 2025 summit was inaugurated today at the Hilton, Manyata Tech Park. This landmark event—the country’s first international conference focused entirely on quantum science and technology—was formally opened by Karnataka Chief Minister Shri Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister Shri D.K. Shivakumar.
The event drew an illustrious gathering of Nobel Laureates, global scientists, industry leaders, policymakers, and startups from over 10 countries including the USA, UK, Denmark, Israel, France, Germany, Switzerland, Netherlands, and Australia.
Karnataka’s Quantum Vision Unveiled
At the heart of the summit was the launch of the Karnataka Quantum Roadmap, a forward-looking strategic framework to position the state as a global quantum hub. The state aims to build a $20 billion quantum-driven economy by 2035.

Pancharatnam Prize Announced
In a significant move to celebrate innovation in quantum science, the Pancharatnam Prize was announced to honour breakthrough contributions in the field. The award aims to inspire Indian researchers and young scientists to contribute to the global quantum revolution.
