Sudeep's K3 solves problem with Polish contributor
Kotigobba 3, the third instalment in the franchise starring Sudeep, has solved a dispute with a foreign company which had resulted in a teaser of the film being struck down last year.
The film has been in the making since 2018, and the teaser was released in February 2020. It garnered huge responses from fans but was removed from YouTube within two days.
A dispute with a Polish company was said to be the reason. Producer Soorappa Babu has announced that the dispute is now settled, and the teaser will be re-released today.
Kotigobba 3's shooting began with a fight sequence shot in Belgrade in June 2018. Pailvaan, another film of Sudeep launched simultaneously was released in 2019.
Kotigobba series had the late Vishnuvardhan in the first film. Sudeep starred in the sequel Kotigobba 2 in 2016. KS Ravikumar directed the second part. Kotigobba 3 is directed by Shiva Karthik in his first Kannada film. Sudeep has written the story plot himself. A large portion of K3 has shot abroad.
