Phuket flight pilot who failed drug test sacked by Air India

Air India has terminated the employment of the pilot-in-command of its Phuket-Delhi flight after he tested positive for a psychoactive substance.

The Tata-owned airline said it follows a “zero-tolerance” policy toward violations of safety, fitness and regulatory requirements, and that the pilot’s employment was terminated with immediate effect.
