Over 100 families rendered homeless as flash flood hits Tripura
AGARTALA: (Jul 9) More than 100 families have been left homeless after flash floods submerged their homes in Tripura’s South district, officials said on Wednesday.
As a safety measure, all schools and anganwadi centres in the district will remain closed for the day.
The district administration has also issued an alert for residents in low-lying areas, urging them to remain vigilant following the heavy rainfall that triggered the flooding on Tuesday.
