Jarakiholi meets Fadnavis at Mumbai
Bengaluru: Former Minister and BJP leader Ramesh Jarakiholi met Maharashtra Opposition leader Devendra Fadnavis at Mumbai on Monday.
Mr. Jarakhiholi who allegedly involved in the CD scandal, resigned to the Yediyurappa cabinet was away from public glare. His meeting with Fadnavis raised eyebrows of many in the BJP circle. Sources close to Jarakiholi said that his meeting with former Maharashtra CM was a courtesy call. Mr. Jarakiholi has not seen in Bengaluru when BJP Karnataka in-charge Arun Singh takes meeting with party legislators and ministers to douse the dissident activities in the party. Ramesh has also distanced himself from the ongoing political saga in the state and he has not given any statements regarding attempts of rebel MLAs to unseat Mr. Yediyurappa from the CM post.
It may be recalled that Mr. Fadnavis did an unsuccessful attempt to come back to power in Maharashtra.
