Bhopal: Income Tax Department conducted raids at offices of the country’s leading media house Dainik Bhaskar Group in connection with tax evasion case.
Searches were going on at multiple locations, including Promoters' residences and offices, news agency ANI reports, quoting sources.
Dainik Bhaskar Group has five newspapers with 65 editions. The group has a readership of 6.63 crores (Source: TR | IRS 19 Q4, U+R).
Also, the group, headquartered in Madhya Pradesh, has a presence in the radio business. 94.3 MY FM, the radio brand of the group, is the largest radio network in India, with a presence in 30 cities across seven states.
The digital arm of the group, DB Digital has six portals and four apps in Hindi, Gujarati, English and Marathi.
