How did fans react to SS Rajamouli's on-screen magic?

Bengaluru: Star director SS Rajamouli’s RRR got an overwhelming opening on the first day, fans thronged cinema halls to watch the magnum opus of Baahubali director on the first show.

Fans say they completely enjoyed the period drama and has no words to describe the movie. Commenting on the performance of the two biggest stars of the Telugu cinema industry, the fans the first half it was NTR Jr and second, half Ram Charan captures the screen, they were seen saying to TV channel reporters who were gathering reaction from the audiences.

Telugu star, Vennela Kishore who watched the midnight show wrote, “Fire and water are both omnipotent, and when their mass is equal they create divine balance.”


A fan named Uday said “Words r not enough to describe the this Film #RRR. Filled with emotions.I have never had a such a good experience watching any movie I have lot lot more to say but right now I'm out words.”

Fans shared the video of Komaram Bheemudo being screened on a 70 MM screen. One fan called Jagadeesh said “I am literally having tears during #KomaramBheemudo song. #Bheem has a strong heart,he doesn't want to salute Britishers. people are shouting "Jai NTR" after each lash.”

Marooq Farebi wrote “One word – MASTERPIECE, one of the best movies ever made in tollywood.Congrats to the entire time for their unbelievable hard work. Both Jr NTR and Ram Charan has created a huge impact in the movie.”
Film business analyst Taran Adarsh wrote a one-word review saying  “OneWordReview, RRR: TERRRIFIC. SSRajamouli gets it right yet again RRR is a big screen spectacle that blends adrenaline-pumping moments, emotions and patriotism magnificently. RRR has the power and potential to emerge a MASSIVE SUCCESS.”


He gave four stars for the film and he said, if people thought that RRR would be pale in comparison with Baabhubali then they will be wrong, “If you thought Baahubali was a fluke, Baahubali2 benefitted largely due to the hype and #RRR would pale in comparison, you’re wrong. SSRajamouli delivers a smart, enthralling and entertaining film that keeps you hooked, despite its marathon run time.”

Taran Adarsh praises the performance both lead actors said “RRR rests on JrNTR and RamCharan’s brawny shoulders. JrNTR is exceptional, pitches a sterling act that doesn’t miss a beat. He gives RRR the much-needed power. Ram Charan is fantastic. Electrifying in dramatic and action moments. Winsome act adds weightage.”

He said female lead Aliya Bhatt did not get enough scope in the movie but praises Ajay Devgn. “AliaBhatt doesn’t get much scope, while AjayDevgn appears in a well-written cameo. RayStevenson [Scott] and AlisonDoody [LadyScott] are effective as the antagonists… VFX [V Srinivas Mohan] and cinematography [KK Senthil Kumar] merit a strong mention,” he said.

Taran Adarsh says Naatu Naatu (Naacho Naacho in Hindi) song deserves a distinction. He said he was awestruck by the dancing skills of both the lead actors.
