Britney Spears Spotted Covering Her Face During New York City Lunch Outing
Britney Spears was recently spotted keeping a low profile during a lunch outing in New York City. The 44-year-old pop star visited RinTinTin restaurant on Thursday, where she reportedly used a scarf to cover her face while dining.
According to Page Six, the “Toxic” singer spent just over an hour at the restaurant. Eyewitnesses claimed that she drank three glasses of red wine during her visit. Although details of her meal have not been disclosed, her bodyguards were later photographed carrying a brown paper bag from the establishment, suggesting that she may have taken some food to go.
Spears reportedly kept her face covered as she exited the restaurant. After getting into the backseat of a waiting vehicle, she was seen smoking cigarettes and using her cellphone to record something. However, what she was filming remains unclear. Her representative did not immediately respond to Page Six's request for comment.
Britney Spears Opens Up About Her Conservatorship Experience
The New York City outing comes days after Spears shared an emotional Instagram post reflecting on the 13-year conservatorship that governed significant aspects of her personal and financial life. The post, which featured a video of the singer modelling black lingerie, was subsequently deleted.
“I’m bitter, all the hours, seconds, time, and secretly, subconsciously knowing my capabilities as a woman,” Spears wrote in the post.
The singer also alleged that the court-ordered arrangement restricted her ability to travel freely and access her own money. Her conservatorship officially ended in November 2021, marking the conclusion of a lengthy legal battle over her personal autonomy.
Britney Spears' Recent Legal Troubles and Family Time
Spears' latest public appearance also follows her DUI arrest in California seven months ago. In May, her attorney entered a guilty plea on her behalf to a lesser charge of reckless driving involving alcohol, commonly known as a “wet reckless.” She was subsequently sentenced to one year of informal probation and ordered to complete a three-month alcohol education programme.
Despite the legal developments, Spears has also been spending time with her family. Earlier this month, the singer reportedly visited Dollywood in Tennessee with her sons, Sean Preston, 21, and Jayden James, 19.
The family outing offered another glimpse into Spears' recent life as she continues to share personal updates on social media. Her latest appearances and candid posts have kept fans interested in her activities as she navigates life beyond her conservatorship.
