B.Y.Vijayendra left for Delhi
Bengaluru: Sudden Delhi trip of B.Y. Vijayendra, son of Chief Minister B.S.Yediyurappa and BJP state vice president has triggered fresh buzz in the party circle.
Recently BJP Karnataka in charge of Arun Singh has held series of meeting with party MLAs, office bearers, and ministers to douse the discontent in the party. Even before he submit a report before the party central leadership, Delhi trip of Mr.Vijayendra raised questions at the party circle on the change of leadership.
Sources close to Mr. Vijayendra said that he visited Delhi to meet lawyers regarding pending cases before the Supreme Court.
It was also stated that Chief Minister B.S.Yediyurappa has met BJP national general secretary Bhupendra Yadav at the outskirt of Bengaluru, but sources close to Chief Minister has dismissed such meeting with party top leader. Mr. Yadav is also looking after Karnataka BJP affairs, but he has not taken official charge.
Mr. Vijayendra has taken a regular flight to Delhi, however, he has not met any party central leaders. Soon after he landed in Delhi he called BJP National general secretary C.T. Ravi.
Mr. Singh has taken a one-to-one meeting with party leaders, MLAs, and ministers. He will submit the report to party central leadership in a day or two, sources said.
