Amitabh and Prabhas team up for Project K
Mumbai: Amitabh Bachchan and Prabhas have teamed up for Project K, billed as an 'Pan World Film' by its fans. The film was officially launched today with Prabhas weilding the clapboard for the first shot pictured on the Big B. Deepika Padukone is the other big name in the film.
The film is directed by Nag Ashwin and the muharat was held in Hyderabad. Sources say that the title of the fil is yet to be finalised and Project K is only the working title being used. Ashwini Dutt of Vyjayanti Movies is producing the film.
Both Prabhas and Bachchan shared a photo of the clapboard. While Prabhas said he was proud of holding the clapboard on Guru Purnamia on the Guru of Indian films, Bachchan praised Prabhas for creating magic with Bahubali.
“On this #GuruPurnima, it is an honour for me to Clap for the Guru of Indian cinema! It now begins!! #ProjectK," Prabhas shared on his social media accounts. Bachchan took to Twitter and tweeted, "T 3976 - .. for the Mahurat shot of #ProjectK .. what an honour to be behind the clap being given by the icon that created cinematic magical waves throughout the Country and the World with Bahubali #actorprabhas."
The photo shared by them shows the hands of Prabhas and the blur image of Bachchan in the background. The film team does not want to reveal their looks as yet, it seems.
