AAP’s CM candidate Bhagwant Mann breaks tradition, to take oath at Shaheed Bhagat Singh's village

As the initial trends started showing a clear majority for AAP in Punjab, Arvind Kejriwal took to Twitter and shared his picture with CM candidate Bhagwant Mann and said "Many congratulations to the people of Punjab for this revolution".

Sangrur: Aam Aadmi Party’s Chief Ministerial face Bhagwant Mann has said that he would not take the oath as a Chief Minister at Raj Bhavan but at Khatkarkalan in Nawanshahr district, the ancestral village of freedom fighter Bhagat Singh.

Addressing party workers after his win in Dhuri, the CM candidate said that no government offices will have photos of the CM but there will be photos of Dr BR Ambedkar and Bhagat Singh.

He said that his government’s focus would be on health, industry, women's safety, making agriculture profitable, improving sports infrastructure, school infrastructure, and education.

Taking a swipe at his opponents,  Mann said “ Bade Badal Sahib has lost, Sukhbir(Badal) has lost from Jalalabad, Capt has lost from Patiala, Sidhu and Majithia are losing. Channi lost on both seats. 
The CM candidate assured the people during his first speech after winning the election said that people will start noticing a difference in Punjab within a month. He thanked voters, those who cast their votes to AAP and those who did not exercise their right in favour of AAP, he said those who did not vote for AAP need to not be worried since the government would work for all sections of the society.

Bhagwant Mann won from Dhuri, with a margin of 58,206 votes.
