12 people missing after boat capsizes in Dhanbad

Ranchi: In a tragic incident, 12 people are missing a boat capsized due to a storm near Barbendia bridge in Dhanbad, Jharkhand, on Thursday. A total of 18 persons on board the boat were going to Jamtara from Nirsa, Dhanbad.
NDRF rushed to the spot and rescued five people. They have been sent to the hospital. The rescue operations are on, according to the Jamtara District administration.
“Unfortunate information has been received about the boat capsizing near Birgaon in Jamtara district. The team of district administration and NDRF conducting rescue operations. I wish that everyone is safe,” Soren tweeted.
