Hyderabad: As Prince Mahesh Babu’s new film, Sarkaru Vaari Paata, is in the last leg of its production. The producers of the movie Mythri Movie Makers, GMB Entertainment, and 14 Reels Plus shared a new poster of the film on the occasion of Mahashivaratri.

Mahesh Babu's last film was the action comedy-drama Sarileru Neekevvaru, which was released on January 11, 2020, so after a gap of over two years, Mahesh Babu’s film will hit the silver screens on May 12. The fans are excited to watch their favourite hero on the screen, and already a lot of anticipation is building in the Tollywood industry considering the hype the film is generating.

Mahesh Babu shared the poster of the movie, wishing the people on the occasion of Mahashivaratri.  He wrote "Wishing you all a happy #MahaShivaratri! May the ever benevolent Lord Shiva bring strength and abundance! Let good conquer all evil! "

The poster depicting Mahesh Babu in an action mood has been well received by his fans. They wrote that they were eager to watch the movie. Sakaru Vaari Paata is written and directed by Parsuram of Geetha Govindam fame. The film stars Keerthy Suresh, while Samuthirakani, Vennela Kishore, and Subbaraju play supporting roles.

S Thaman scored the music for the film, and R Madhi did the camera work.
