Bengaluru: Following Allu Arjun's Pushpa and SS Rajamouli's RRR, Yash's KGF: Chapter 2 is about to set your screens on fire. In a literal sense. The first instalment, KGF: Chapter 1, concluded on a high note and piqued interest for almost 3.5 years. Meanwhile,  fans and movie lovers who have watched the film showered praises for Prashant Neel’s marvel.

The film, which is likely to do well at the box office, has already set a milestone by becoming the first Hindi film to be released on more than 4000 screens since the pandemic. According to sources from India's box office, "The Hindi version will be released on 4400 screens, with an additional 100 screens in North Karnataka, Nizam / Andhra Pradesh, Mysore / Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala that are not being distributed by the Hindi version. This will give it a total of 4500 screens, making it the largest post-pandemic release and the fifth largest of all time."

According to trade analysts, the Hindi version of the film has already sold tickets worth Rs 20 crore a day before its premiere, shattering another record.

A total of 5 million tickets have been sold in advance. It is followed by another South Indian picture, the Tamil blockbuster "Beast," which has sold over 1.8 million tickets on the website.

Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon, two well-known Hindi actors, were brought in for the second instalment. Prakash Raj, Eswari Rao, and Rao Ramesh are among the newcomers to the cast.
