Pune: Controversial ‘selfie man’, Kiran Gosavi who took selfie with Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan has arrested in Pune in cheating case.

NCB claimed that Kiran Gosavi was witness in Aryan Khan’s cruise ship drug case. However his presence with Aryan Khan during NCB arrested Khan in drug case has erupted controversy. Maharashtra ruling NCP has questioned the presence of independent probing agency members during NCB raids on Cruise.

Mr. Gosavi wanted to police in 2018 cheating case, the Pune police has issued look out notice to him. Three days back, Gosavi said that he will surrender before Uttar Pradesh police as he felt threatened in Maharashtra.

Gosavi claimed as private investigator was present during the cruise ship raid on October 2, later he was spotted NCB office with Aryan Khan, tool selfie with him.

Maharashtra minister Nawaz Malik questioned the presence of Gosavi with Aryan Khan. He further alleged that NCB has hand in glove with Gosavi. Politicians even questioned NCB why independent witness of the agency should  take part of the raid and his presence in NCB office.

Moreover, personal bodyguard of Gosavi, Prabhakar Sail alleged that Gosavi was trying to payoff with Shahrukh Khan discharging his son from drug charges. He said that Mr Gosavi having a telephonic conversation about payoffs with one Sam D'Souza.

Mr Sail further alleged that Mr Gosavi say they should ask for a "bomb ₹ 25 crore" and then settle at ₹ 18 crore, of which ₹ 8 crore is for the NCB's zonal officer in charge of the investigation, Sameer Wankhede.

"Sail is lying. I just want to request that his CDR (call details record) should be released. My CDR report or chat should be issued, along with the CDR report of Sail and his brother, then everything will be clear. At least one minister or any leader of opposition from Maharashtra should stand with me. At least they should request the Mumbai Police to do what I am asking (to release CDR and chat of Sail," Mr Gosavi said in a video statement today, NDTV reported.

Meanwhile NCB zonal director, who is in center of controversy for arresting Aryan Khan has arrived to Delhi for official visit. His visit to the national capital comes amid the row over payback allegations made by Mr. Sail.

Mr. Malik has alleged that Wankhede has produced fake caste certificate to get job in government service. He made series of allegations against Wankhede and his family.
