Shami has been a revelation this year and was bowling better than ever, even during the peak summer. Ravi Shastri asked him what kind of food he ate. He noted Shami was getting stronger and more powerful even as the temperature was rising and he continued to run at a faster pace.
Shami said he was in Gujarat, and although he did not get food of his liking, he was enjoying Gujarati food nevertheless.
Shami discussed a few additional subjects during the post-match awards ceremony. The veteran pacer praised his bowling partner Mohit Sharma, who also took four wickets in the game. The Titans may elect to rest a few key players in the upcoming game against Royal Challengers Bangalore, who are in a do-or-die situation in the competition, now that a spot in the playoffs has been secured.
