Bajrang Punia wins Bronze
Tokyo: India wrestler Bajrang Punia brings the Bronze to India in Tokyo Olympics 2020 by beating Daulet Niyazbekov of Kazakhstan.
Bajrang beat reigning world silver medalist Daulet Niyazbekov in 8-0. In semifinal match Punia lost to Azerbaijan’s Haji Aliyev 5-12 in the men’s freestyle 65kg category held yesterday.
With winning of the bronze medal in Tokyo Olympics, the medal tally of India's rose to 6, which including 2 silver and 4 bronze. Another Indian wrestler, Ravi Dahiya, won the silver medal.
