ISI agent Habibur Rahman arrested from Pokhran
Delhi: Delhi police has registered a case against ISI agent Habibur Rahman under Official Secretes Act.
Habibur Rahman was arrested in Pokhran, Rajasthan for spying on Indian defence establishments and for the procession of crucial maps and documents of the Indian Army.
Rahman has visited Delhi many time, Delhi police have arrested him and they will soon take him to custody for further interrogation. Rahman, a resident of Pokhran has been supplying crucial military documents to Pakistan.
Delhi crime branch police had recovered confidential documents and maps of the Indian Army areas from him. Accused was reportedly told the Delhi police that the said documents were given to him by Paramjit Kaur, an army personal.
Rahman was supposed to hand over the documents to one Kamal. Police have nabbed a few other suspects and also suspect the involvement of a bigger racket.
Delhi Police has said Rahman had been supplying vegetables to the Pokhran Army base camp on a contractual basis for the past few years.
