Tokyo Olympics: Golfer Aditi Ashok tied at 2nd in 2nd round, in contention for medal

Tokyo: Golfer Aditi Ashok finished second in Women’s Round 2 with five under par (-5) 66 points on Thursday. With this Aditi is tied at 2nd Rank 9 under par (-9) with total 133 points. Aditi tied second with world number one Nelly Korda after Wednesday’s first round.

Aditi made her Olympics Games debut at the Rio Olympics in 2016. She qualified for Tokyo Games in the 45th place in the Olympic rankings.

In 2016, Aditi had her dad Ashok Gudlamani on the bag at the Olympics. It is her mom's turn in Tokyo.

"My mom, she's caddying for me. Last time I had my dad on the bag, so the experience was just so incredible I was like I want to have my mom next time and I made good on that promise," Aditi told in an article published by International Golf Federation.
