Bengaluru: How an unprofessional way of handling a deadly venomous snake could turn risky can be learned from a young boy of Sirsi town of Karnataka.

Maaz Sayed, a 20-year-old boy is now been admitted to the hospital for snakebite treatment as he was bit furiously by a cobra when the boy was trying to play the deadly serpents in a highly unprofessional manner.

Reacting suddenly to the action before the boy could realise it, one of the snakes bites on the knee so hard that the boy had to pull away from the snake from the knees when the fangs of the snake had dug deep in the skin.

Sayed who runs a youtube channel and has uploaded several videos, this time, the video is being watched not for his stunt, but the action of the snake which has retaliated to the provocation.

Sharing the video on Twitter, Indian Forest Service officer Susanta Nanda has expressed anguish for the boy trying to play with the deadly cobra. "This is just a horrific way of handling cobras...The snake considers the movements as threats and follows the movement. At times, the response can be fatal", he wrote. 

A Facebook post shared by Priyanka Kadam, President and Founder of Snakebite Healing and Education Society, reveals that Sayed was hospitalized after the cobra bit him. 

Cobra is the common name of various elapid snakes, and all known The sources said that as part of the treatment, the boy was given 46 vials of anti-venom to save his life.

Kadam, who has shared photos of the boy being treated at the hospital said that Sayed is recuperating in a private hospital in Sirsi, Karnataka.

She said that the boy needs some clear guidance on handling snakes, and added that an expert can perhaps try guiding him. He wasn't arrogant. Spoke respectfully. He is still unwell. Will connect with him once he fully recovers.
