New Delhi: Tokyo Olympic gold medalist Neeraj Chopra received his customised Mahindra XUV 700 with 87.58 (his Olympics throw) imprinted on it.
On receiving the gift, Neeraj Chopra thanked Mahindra Group chairman Anand Mahindra for the customised four-wheeler.
He said in a tweet, " Thank you @anandmahindra ji for the new set of wheels with some very special customisation! I'm looking forward to taking the car out for a spin very soon".
Earlier, Anand Mahindra had tweeted that it would be an honour for him to gift XUV700 to Chopra.
After Neeraj Chopra's win at Tokyo Olympics, Anand Mahindra was quick to respond to the incredible feat. Anand Mahindra had promised to gift the gold medallist the upcoming SUV XUV700.
The 23-year-old is the first Indian athlete to win a gold medal in track and field events at Tokyo Olympics 2021.
