JCO, 4 jawans martyred in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district
One JCO and four jawans of the Indian Army were martyred during the anti-terror operation in Pir Panjal ranges, Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir on Monday.

Srinagar: One JCO and four jawans of the Indian Army were martyred during the anti-terror operation in Pir Panjal ranges, Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir on Monday. They were rushed to the nearest medical facility where they succumbed to injuries.
Based on intelligence inputs, the Indian Army launched a cordon and search operation in villages close to DKG in Surankote jurisdiction of Poonch district of J&K today morning. The encounter with terrorists is going on, Defence PRO, Jammu, said in a statement.
Earlier in the day, security forces killed two militants, including a The Resistance Front (TRF) militant behind a civilian killing, in two separate operations. Imtiyaz Ahmad Dar, a TRF militant, was killed in Gund Jahangeer village of Hajin area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora
