In Bombay HC Aryan Khan files affidavit, NCB files objection

Mumbai: Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan has filed an affidavit before the Bombay high court praying that the court should decide his bail plea based on merits uninfluenced by allegations and counter-allegations by others.

Khan in his affidavit also said that he has not made allegations against anyone in the prosecution as well as against the NCB officials.

NCB has filed the 35 pages detailed reply to the petition of Aryan Khan, pleaded with the court not to grant bail to the accused. In the reply, NCB contended that Aryan Khan has international linkages, is an influential person and can derail probes and tamper with evidence if he granted bail.

The manner in which the affidavit by witness Prabhakar Sail was clandestinely distributed and widely publicised in the media was an example of malafide attempt to derail the probe, the NCB has claimed. Justice Nitin Sambre will hear the bail matter on post-lunch, the matter was listed as item 57
