Mr.Kishor was referred about detentions and arrest of top Congress leaders protesting against Lakhimpur Kheri violence. Speculations in the Congress was doing rounds since many months that the election strategist would join the grand old party.
Congress is facing severe criticisms from its G23 members for party structural collapse for not holding elections for President post and not calling Congress Working Committee members.
Moreover, leaders who have loyal to the Gandhi family left the party has worried the party. However, Congress top leaders Priyanka Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi has made an all-out attack against the Yogi Adityananth government for killing four farmers who peacefully taking out a protest march in Lakhimpur Kheri.
Congress leaders staged protests against the UP government demanding the arrest of Union Minister’s Ajay Mishra’s son Ashish Mishra, who is named in the FIR and Congress has demanded the ouster of Ajay Mishra from the Union cabinet.
