New Delhi: With the administration of 65,34,306 vaccine doses in the last 24 hours, India’s COVID-19 vaccination coverage crossed the landmark of 88Cr (88,34,70,578) as per provisional reports till 7 am today. This has been achieved through 85,92,824sessions, as per the latest bulletin by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
Highlights of COVID-19 bulletin:
- 88.34 Cr. vaccine doses have been administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive
- Active cases account for less than 1 per cent of total cases, currently at 0.82 per cent; Lowest since March 2020
- India's Active caseload stands at 2,77,020; lowest in 195 days
- Recovery Rate currently at 97.85 per cent; Highest since March 2020
- 28,718 recoveries in the last 24 hours increase Total Recoveries to 3,30,14,898
- Weekly Positivity Rate (1.74 per cent ) less than 3 per cent for last 97 days
- Daily positivity rate (1.56 per cent ) less than 3 per cent for last 31 days
- 56.89 cr Total Tests conducted so far
