New Delhi: With the administration of 79,12,202 vaccine doses in the last 24 hours, India’s COVID-19 vaccination coverage nearly reaches 94Cr (93,99,15,323) as per provisional reports till 7 am on Saturday. This has been achieved through 91,40,316 sessions, according to the COVID bulletin by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
Highlights of COVID-19 bulletin:
- 93.99 Cr. vaccine doses have been administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive
- Active cases account for less than 1 per cent of total cases, currently at 0.70 per cent; Lowest since March 2020
- India's Active caseload stands at 2,36,643; the lowest in 206 days
- Recovery Rate currently at 97.98 per cent; Highest since March 2020
- 23,070 recoveries in the last 24 hours increase Total Recoveries to 3,32,48,291
- Weekly Positivity Rate (1.62 per cent) less than 3 per cent for last 106 days
- Daily positivity rate (1.56 per cent) less than 3 per cent for last 40 days
- 58.13 cr Total Tests conducted so far
