Congress takes dig at CT Ravi

Bengaluru: BJP National general secretary C.T. Ravi objectionable remarks suggesting Congress open canteen in the name of Indira Gandhi in KPCC office and open a hookah bar there in the name of former Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru condemned by the Congress leaders. 

Karnataka Congress tweeted in the hashtag of ‘bjp is for anti-people, “in the ruling party, bjp MLA of Chikamgaluru district has protested against the government for not releasing funds to flood victims, C.T. Ravi hails from the same district, yelling nonsense after consuming stems of marigold, it is not his duty to give justice to his district”, Congress tweeted. 

“BJP is providing the governance in such a way that its own party MLA crying in front of the public, seeking justice to his constituency people. Government has not bothered to hear the grievances of party MLAs, then will it hear the grievances of the people?”, KPCC questioned. 

Government is completely directionless , since the third wave of the Covid pandemic is approaching fast, the government has not made any preparation for that, but it has been busy with indulging petty politics and ministers have not resumed their works and demanding plum portfolios, Congress tweeted. 

Meanwhile, Opposition leader Siddaramaiah in his tweet taking a dig at C.T. Ravi for his remarks against Jawaharlal Nehru and Indira Gandhi. Siddararamaiah said that, based on his desires and culture, C.T. Ravi has recalled about hookah bar, the government should be appointed him as Excise minister. 

For his tweet, Mr. Ravi replied that “I have recalled hookah bar after seeing the images of Nehru. Why do you name Indira Canteen instead of Annapoorneshwari canteen”, he tweeted. 

Mr. Ravi’s controversial remarks came after RDPR minister K.S.Eshwarappa made objectionable remarks against Congress leaders. Congress leaders have criticized Ravi’s remarks and stated that Ravi’s statement shows the culture of BJP.
