British defence ministry warns of chemical weapons attack against Ukraine
The Twitter post said "Such an operation could take the form of a faked attack, a staged 'discovery' of agents or munitions or fabricated evidence of alleged Ukrainian planning to use such weapons."
London: As the war continued in Ukraine and Russia has not stopped its shelling, amid the escalating war, the Defence Ministry of Britain has expressed the possibility of Russia using chemical or biological weapons in the ongoing war against Ukraine.
The Ministry stated in a tweet that possibly Russia would use lethal chemical or biological weapons in response to a ‘staged fake attack on Russian troops’ by Ukraine.
The Ministry, however, failed to provide any material evidence or any proof to support the claim. It only said that the Ministry received only intelligence inputs on the possible attack on Ukraine using chemical weapons.
Interestingly, even the American administration has made similar claims recently. "Such an operation could take the form of a faked attack, a staged 'discovery' of agents or munitions or fabricated evidence of alleged Ukrainian planning to use such weapons."

The Ministry added that it had seen no evidence to support Russia's accusations that Ukraine planned to use chemical and biological weapons.
Echoing similar sentiments, the United Nations also supported Ukraine by stating that it had no evidence Ukraine had a biological weapons program.
Meanwhile, America and other allied nations have accused Russia of spreading the unproven claim as a possible prelude to launching its own biological or chemical attacks.
Speaking to reporters U.S. President Joe Biden warned Russia that it would pay a "severe price" if its military should use chemical weapons against Ukraine.
