Mumbai: Special NDPS Court Thursday extended the judicial custody of Aryan Khan and others till October 30 in drugs on cruise ship case.  The accused were not produced in court either physically or through video conference, as per reports. 

Yesterday, a Mumbai sessions court had denied bail to Aryan Khan son of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan. But, Aryan's lawyer moved Bombay High Court for bail. The court to hear Aryan Khan's bail application on 26th October, Tuesday.

Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan has met his son at Arthur Road jail after the Session Court denied bail.  Shah Ruhk Khan has spent around 20 minutes with his son at jail. Maharashtra government has relaxed the jail visits  after decrease in Covid cases.

"WhatsApp chats prima facie reveals accused Aryan Khan is dealing in illicit drug activities for narcotic substances on regular basis. Therefore, it cannot be said that Khan is not likely to commit similar offence while on bail," Judge VV Patil said in his order.

Though there is no drug found with Aryan Khan, however he knew that his friend Arbaaz Merchant having it and this amounted to conscious procession, the court observed while dismissing the bail application.

The 23-year-old was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on October 3 along with his friend Arbaaz Merchant and six others following a raid on a cruise ship off the coast of Mumbai.
