Actor Anupam Shyam passes away in Mumbai

Mumbai: Television and Bollywood actor Anupam Shyam passed away due to multiple organ failure at 63 in Mumbai.

Actor Yashpal Sharma told news agency ANI that, "I got to know that he's no more. So we rushed here and found he was still breathing. The doctor later declared him dead. He was hospitalised for 4 days. He had high blood sugar and used to take injections during shooting of his last film". 

Anupam Shyam is known for his villainous roles n serials and movies. He appeared as Thakur Sajjan Singh in the Star Plus TV series Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya (2009 and 2021). Besides, he worked in films like LajjaNayakDubai Return, Parzania, Hazaaoan Khwaishein Aisi (2005), Shakti: The Power, Bandit Queen, internationally acclaimed movie Slumdog Millionnaire (2008).

Anupam Shyam was born in 1958 in Pratapgarh, Uttar Pradesh.
