30 killed, 50 injured in Peshawar blast
Prime Minister Imran Khan, Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Shahbaz Sharif, Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed, and other political leaders condemned the blast.
Peshawar: At least 30 people were killed and more than 50 injured in a bomb explosion during Friday prayers at a mosque in Peshawar, according to Geo News.
Pakistan daily Dwan quoted Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government spokesman Barrister Mohammad Ali Saif saying at least 30 people had been killed in the explosion, which he said was a suicide bombing. He added that two terrorists were involved in the attack.

Speaking to Geo News, Peshawar Central City Police Officer (CCPO) Muhammad Aijaz seconded the special assistant's statement, saying that two terrorists tried to enter the mosque and opened fire at the on-duty cops.
