Perched on the 25th floor of the Burj Al Arab in Dubai, the Royal Suite is a sight for sore eyes. The Burj is famous for its striking sail-shape design, and the lavish suite, which is one of the most expensive hotel rooms in the world, has an average price tag of $24,000 a night. Let's just say it will quickly burn a hole in your wallet!It's over the top. It's MASSIVE - 780 square metres, to be exact. It's extremely colourful, bright and certainly fit for a king.
The suite takes up two floors. Opulence is lurking in every corner and hits you straight away when the doors open and you're greeted with an impressive gold and marble stairway (of course, you made your way to the suite via your own private elevator).
Huge pillars are covered in 22-karat gold and you really feel like a star.
This stairway is just for the suite, it's not the hotel lobby! Though you'd be forgiven for thinking otherwise ...
You have your own private dining area - complete with a butler - and a comfy Arabic-style lounge.
