Nikki Haley backs India’s right to retaliate, slams Pakistan on terror
NEW YORK: (May 8) Indian-American Republican leader Nikki Haley on Thursday said that India had “every right” to retaliate and defend itself after the Pahalgam terror attack, asserting that Pakistan does not get to play the "victim".
India launched Operation Sindoor in retaliation for the terror attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir in which 26 civilians were killed.
Under the operation, India struck nine terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir with missiles and drones.
